Naval Justice School Foundation Mentorship Program for Transitioning Servicemembers
The Naval Justice School Foundation, in an effort to assist active-duty Judge Advocates in the process of transitioning out of military service and into their next professional opportunity, has established a mentorship and networking program. We are seeking to match JAG mentor-volunteers with transitioning members who can benefit from their experience. You do not have to be a member of the Foundation to be a mentor-volunteer or mentee.
If you want to volunteer as a mentor or are a transitioning servicemember (separating or retiring) from any of the sea services' legal communities and within 6-12 months of leaving active duty or recently separated, please download and fill out the questionnaire below and email it to CAPT Robert Passerello, JAGC, USN (Retired) at robertpasserelloQ@gmail.com.
Your information (mentors and mentees) will remain confidential with the Naval Justice School Foundation board and will only be used to provide matching services. Once a match has been identified, the Foundation will provide an introductory email to both parties, at which time your respective questionnaires will be shared. The ultimate goal is to match a mentee with a former Judge Advocate who has the experience, background, and interests that will best serve the mentee's transition from the military to civilian world.
